That ALWAYS makes me cry…every time single I watch it. :’(

This scene, guys, this scene. Basically, a ship Ivanova was commanding was hit by debris from another ship and she suffered a broken neck and was going to die. Marcus Cole, who was just starting a relationship with her breaks into Babylon 5’s medical center, proceeds to knock out the entire medical staff and uses an ancient machine go save her life.  Unfortunately, the machine killed anybody who used it. As he died, he whispered “I love you” to her.
My creys.

Oh, Marcus… I shipped these two so, so hard. I was pissed when he died, then pissed again when Ivonova left the show.

Blame TNT for that one. JMS originally planned for Babylon 5 to last five seasons, but he wasn’t sure that the network was going to renew the show for a fifth, so he tried to wrap everything up in the fourth season. Then TNT did renew it and so JMS had to scramble to write it. That’s how we ended up with what’s-her-name as commander of B5 and a generally shitty season.

I can’t even watch this episode because I just end up sobbing myself in to a headache.
